Review of
Microsoft Vista Operating System. |
Let's face it, Microsoft, the
maker of Windows® and now the newest member of the Windows® family,
Vista™, has no competition and is the driving force behind the
entire wave of Information Technology. The point is this, let's
assume, Linux (which is a copy and variant of UNIX, by the way),
magically, vanishes. Like in that plastics commercial, how many
people will be effected? Ok, let's try it with Apple. VMS, then? |
Review of the T-Mobile Dash Smart
Phone. |
A while ago we reviewed the
Motorola MPX220 GSM quad band smart phone which we found to be very
smart and very useful, both as a communications device, and much,
much more than a personal organizer – that is if you were smart
enough for it. This review focuses on the new, made by HTC, T-Mobile
Dash smart phone. |
Spoolsv.exe and Cannot delete an email |
HHHHHElp me please!!!
Spoolsv.exe is maxing out my resources and there's no help on the
web. I am afraid my OS is corrupt and I will have to reformat
everything. I've tried everything. I don't know what to do. Or, I
can't delete an email [Outlook Express]. I can't compact my Inbox.
My PC goes away and then after hours it tells me some other program
is holding Inbox. I need all my emails. Help! |
Sirius and
XM (xm2go) satellite digital radio companies to merge?
|
Recently there’s been much
talk and media hype regarding the purported desire of Sirius and XM
(xm2go) satellite digital radio companies to merge. This proposition
is not without its logistical and legal problems. |

How safe are you using your credit card
online?
|
I get tons of emails per day.
Besides the ones that want me to spend my money, some ask pretty
darn good questions. Like for example, I get this all the time: “Am
I safer today using my credit card online, than a year ago?” Or,
“Should I be concerned using my credit card, in general?” So, here I
will attempt to give a somewhat comprehensive answer to emails that
are essentially asking the same, or similar, questions. |
Jeep
Commander |
After our initial SUV
evaluation, we received a rather unexpected number of emails
requesting more. Presumably, that was because you, the reader, after
perusing the reviews, realized that they were completely unbiased,
or as close to being unbiased as one can get. So, we decided to
acquire a number of vehicles for detailed evaluation. Here, we will
be reviewing the 2006 Jeep Commander. This is a brand new vehicle
making its debut in 2006. |

Wouldn't it be nice to have a job that you really
liked? What if you truly had fun doing your job or just enjoyed
being on the job? Or, if you had lots of fun going to school, or
having fun and enjoying yourself doing mundane things we do everyday
which constitutes our lives and defines who we are? |
Linksys Firewall Router |
If you are getting tired of paying a bunch of money
each year to some software company that promises to keep your
systems safe, perhaps you should consider investing $80 to purchase
this firewall router. |
Motorola HS700 Bluetooth Handsfree Device |
We've received many requests to review the Motorola HS700. Although
the device model number would indicate that the HS700 is the
predecessor to the HS850, it is not. The HS700 is actually a newer
device. So, we thought it prudent to review it. |
Nikon D50, D70s, Cannon, Sony |
This review started with the focus on the Nikon D50. However, since
the announcement of this upcoming review, and the number of your
emails and the various requests regarding comparisons, and other
related topics, we have greatly expanded the review. The process
took a bit longer. |
SMC 2870 Wireless Access Point |
Actually the SMC 2870 is a little more than an access point.
Actually it's a lot more. This device has a triple personality. It
is an accesspoint, a repeater and a bridge. |
Machspeed TRIO MP3 Player |
The Machspeed Trio comes in several flavors: 128 Mbytes, 256 Mbytes
or 512 Mbytes. No matter how avid of a listener you are, for a
portable device that is also a USB drive, even the 128 MByte
capacity is more than sufficient. Take 128 and divide it by 3,
roughly, and you will get song capacity of the device. |
Canon MultiPASS Printer/Fax/Copier/Scanner
|
Ok, now everyone, repeat after me: It's not the same, it's not the
same, it's not the same. What's the question, you may ask? The
question is, why is it, that there are much less expensive
appliances available out there. Aren't they all the same?

Dell
Axim PDA |
The Dell Axim PDA comes with the Windows Pocket PC, as it is
currently branded, or actually the CE operating system. This review
pertain to both, the X3 and the X5 models. |
Motorola Mpx 220 Smart Phone |
Why are smartphones called smart and how smart are they? Well,
they're called smart because they're smarter than the average bear,
hmmm, phone. And they're pretty smart, considering they're phones.
