Review of the TrekStor Cebrax MP3 Player FM
transmitter.

There are so many devices capable of playing your
MP3's. TrekStor; however, is clearly different. You
notice this just by touching it. Although plastic,
it feels like the texture of a high-end digital
camera. So what's so special about TrekStor RS? And
that is, it's a radio station, or more appropriately
it has an FM transmitter built into it capable of
broadcasting on any FM frequency. The premium
headphones supplied are ingeniously used as the
antenna.
The TrekStor boasts a 2GB capacity, which is
enough to store about 40 albums. This device is
capable of folder recognition, so you can organize
your songs into some logical fashion. The joystick
allows you to navigate from song to song and folder
to folder. It is also used to adjust the volume. Two
additional controls are located on the side of the
device. These allow you to turn it into a voice
recorder, and serve as an on/off buttons. In
addition, this device can play WMA's and WAV's.
So here's how you'd use it. Plug it into your USB
port and load it up with your favorite music. Then,
tune your friend's car stereo to some clear FM
frequency, turn on your TrekStor Cebrax, and tell it
the frequency, and turn on the RS mode, and off you
go -- hours of listening to your favorite music.
Just sit there and use it as you would a remote
control. The broadcast is very strong especially if
you position the headphones close to the antenna or
the stereo unit itself. Overall, the TrekStor Cebrax
device is a winner.
